The Foreman Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 25 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Raby 51-18 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Foreman has managed all season.
Alysia Gause was her usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with nine steals and five rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Foreman's points. Another player making a difference was Shamyriah Hines, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 17 rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Foreman and bumps their season record up to 8-4. As for Raby, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-2.
Foreman will head out on the road to face off against Aspira Business and Finance at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Aspira Business and Finance comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 19 points in their last six games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Raby, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kelvyn Park at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
