The John F. Kennedy Catholic Eagles stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They blew past Southeast, posting a 71-42 win on the road. John F. Kennedy Catholic's offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead John F. Kennedy Catholic to victory, but perhaps none more so than Addy Odille, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds. It was the first time this season that Odille scored 15 or more points. Gianna Pompelia was another key contributor, scoring 26 points along with two steals.
John F. Kennedy Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Southeast, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 14 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.
John F. Kennedy Catholic will look to defend their home court on Monday against Cleveland Central Catholic at 5:30 p.m. As for Southeast, they will head out on the road to take on Garfield Community Learning Center at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Garfield Community Learning Center and four for Southeast.
