If the Heritage Christian Academy Patriots were riding high off their 72-49 takedown of the Mount Calvary Christian Academy Warriors on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Heritage Christian Academy was beaten by Falcon Christian Academy 82-46 on Tuesday. Heritage Christian Academy has not had much luck with Falcon Christian Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Several Patriots players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cody Buetow, who scored 12 points. Bryce Anderson was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
It was another big night for Jordan McMillian, who scored 22 points along with nine assists and five steals for Falcon Christian Academy. McMillian is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted eight or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dre Glenn, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds.
Heritage Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Falcon Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 14-1 with that win, which was their 14th straight at home.
Heritage Christian Academy will head out on the road to challenge Varsity Opponent at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Falcon Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Thomas Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Thomas Academy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
