New Rockford-Sheyenne extended the longest winning streak in 9-Man Region 2 (9 Man) this week by beating Lakota/Adams-Edmore, 22-13. The victory was the 10th in a row for the team.
Cavalier led the league in scoring this week after putting up 46 points on Wyndmere/Lidgerwood.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between New Rockford-Sheyenne and the Tornadoes. The Rockets enters the contest ranked first in the state, while Cavalier ranks second.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when New Rockford-Sheyenne takes on Matt Pulver's team. The Rockets have allowed 201 points this season, while the Tornadoes have given up 128.
