Baseball Recap: Northwest Christian School Has No Trouble Against Reardan

Northwest Christian School won the last time they faced Reardan and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Crusaders put the hurt on the Screaming Eagles with a sharp 16-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Crusaders, who have now won six matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

Jack Duff was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. Drew Bevan also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Duff wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Northwest Christian School kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in three consecutive games.

Northwest Christian School has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. Having lost for the first time this season, Reardan fell to 4-1.

Northwest Christian School will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Screaming Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
