St. John posted their closest victory since September 6th on Tuesday. They won by a set and slipped past the Central Plains Oilers 2-1. The win was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won three contests in a row.

Central Plains lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Tagen Davis, who had ten digs and two aces.

St. John now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Central Plains, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.

St. John has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Ellinwood on the 23rd. As for Central Plains, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Kinsley on the 23rd.
