The Elsie Allen Lobos lost against the Ukiah Wildcats back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Elsie Allen took a hard 46-32 fall against Ukiah. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Elsie Allen in their matchups with Ukiah: they've now lost seven in a row.
It was another big night for Tony Zacarias, who scored 15 points along with six assists and six rebounds for Ukiah. Zacarias has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Omaurie Phillips-Porter, who scored eight points along with five assists and four steals.
Elsie Allen's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Ukiah, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-5.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Healdsburg the next time they take the court. Elsie Allen will head out to face Healdsburg at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Ukiah will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
