If Our Lady of Good Counsel wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Bishop Ireton, they should've done a better job of containing Anna Hudson. The Cardinals walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Falcons on Wednesday with plenty of help from Hudson, who had ten digs and four aces. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

Bishop Ireton had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 14-25, 25-22, 25-21, 25-11.

With the win, Bishop Ireton broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 7-9. As for Our Lady of Good Counsel, they moved to 3-6-1 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Bishop Ireton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against The Academy of the Holy Cross on the 3rd. As for Our Lady of Good Counsel, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Bishop O'Connell on the 3rd.
