Baseball Recap: Kendrick Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Kendrick won the last time they faced Genesee and things went their way on Monday too. The Tigers blew past the Bulldogs 15-4. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by nine runs or more this season.

Xavier Carpenter was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Ralli Roetcisoender was another key player, going 1-for-5 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Kendrick kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Genesee only managed four hits.

The victory (which was Kendrick's fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-1. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9 runs. As for Genesee, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-9-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Kendrick will square off against rival Potlatch at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Tigers 2.9, the Loggers 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Genesee is set to take on their familiar foe Clearwater Valley at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
