In what's become a running theme this season, the Locust Fork Hornets gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 59-35 margin over Southeastern. With Locust Fork ahead 35-11 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Faith Evans was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds. Emma Adams was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with eight rebounds.
Locust Fork's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.7 points per game. As for Southeastern, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-14.
Locust Fork will head out on the road to challenge the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Southeastern does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
