After each having a week off, the Tuckahoe Tigers and the Haldane Blue Devils will dust off their jerseys to  face off against  one another  at 3:00  p.m.  on Friday. Tuckahoe is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 26  points per game  this season.
 Tuckahoe's defense heads into the  game  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  last Saturday. They put the hurt on Woodlands with a sharp  26-0 win. Considering the Tigers have won four matchups by more than 20  points this season, Saturday's  blowout was nothing new.
 This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to  Declan Connolly and  Logan Bogetti. Connolly rushed for 109 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries while  Bogetti rushed for 96 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries.
 Tuckahoe was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 285  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 271  rushing yards in three consecutive  matches.
 On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Tuckahoe's defense and their three sacks.  Vin Justino was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself.
 Meanwhile, Haldane fell victim to Dobbs Ferry and their airtight defense  last Friday. They had to suffer through a   27-0 loss at the hands of the Eagles. The Blue Devils have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
 Tuckahoe pushed their record up to 5-3 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home. Those victories were due in large part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 5.0 points per game. As for Haldane, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
 Tuckahoe didn't have too much breathing room in their  contest against Haldane  when the teams last played  back in September, but they still walked away with  a  12-6 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tuckahoe since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
