After a string of four wins, Indian Lake's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 53-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Union Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Lakers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 319th, while the Wildcats are ranked 137th).

Indian Lake's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-4. As for North Union, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Indian Lake and Point Pleasant will round out the year against one another at at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. As for North Union, they will square off against Shawnee at 6:00 p.m. on December 30th.
