It was another big night for Christian Cardona, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. The game was his 11th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gerald Patterson, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds.
Las Vegas' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bryce Davis, who scored six points. Tayshaun Jackson was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Cimarron-Memorial is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Las Vegas, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
