Jacobs lost against Cary-Grove back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Golden Eagles received a blow as they fell 44-29 to the Trojans. The Golden Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Several Golden Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Austin Stennett, who threw for 94 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 50 yards. Stennett showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 50 yards. Justin Gonzalez got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Jacobs' loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Cary-Grove, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

As of now, neither Jacobs nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
