The Antioch Sequoits waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 50-39 win over Lakes. That's two games straight that Antioch has won by exactly 11 points.
Antioch found their leader in underclassman Heidi Rathmann, who scored 26 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Rathmann has scored at least a third of Antioch's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Webb, who scored eight points.
Antioch's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Lakes, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Round Lake the next time they take the court. Antioch will head out to face Round Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Lakes will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
