For Brantley County, this counts as revenge for the 48-43 defeat Charlton County walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.
Despite the loss, Charlton County saw an underclassman step up: Christiona Farmer scored 26 points along with 4 steals. Farmer scored a full 61.9% of Charlton County's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Rihanna Battle, who scored 9 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 steals.
Brantley County's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Charlton County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brantley County won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Atkinson County at 6:00 p.m. on December 1st. Averaging 57 so far this season, Atkinson County's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so Brantley County better be ready for a challenge.
