Volleyball Recap: Glendale Wins Going Away Against Central

Glendale won the last time they faced Central and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Falcons blew past the Bulldogs 3-0. The Falcons not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 16th (when they won 3-0).

While Glendale won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 26-24, 25-9.

Elle Givens paced Glendale's offense, picking up 16 kills. Givens got some help from Aubree Bohannon and her 14 assists. Givens also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Ivy Flinn, each putting up two.

Glendale has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4-2 record this season. As for Central, with the loss, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 5-10-3.

Coming up, Glendale will face off against Ozark at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Central, they will square off against Parkview at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
