In other batting news, ZAC GROSSMANN was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. TREY HOPE was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-2.
Evangel Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .710. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
The win made it two in a row for Evangel Christian and bumps their season record up to 11-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Wiregrass, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
