After flying high against Century last Wednesday, Westminster came back down to earth. The Owls fell just short of the Winters Mill Falcons by a score of 10-9 on Saturday. The Owls' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Westminster's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Winters Mill, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Westminster will challenge rival Liberty at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Winters Mill is set to take on their familiar foe Manchester Valley on Monday.
