Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Lincoln Wolves, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They were outmatched by Ozark on the road and fell 49-14. Lincoln has struggled against Ozark recently, as their matchup on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
It was another big night for Koby Wilbanks, who rushed for 244 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.4 yards per carry. Wilbanks is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Miner, who rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns.
Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Ozark, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.
Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Ozark will take on Warren at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Warren is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
