After soaring high against West Harrison last week, Icarus fell to the ground on Friday. Kingsley-Pierson didn't finish too far behind, but the squad still lost 26-30 to St. Mary's. If Kingsley-Pierson were expecting to get some payback for the 8-57 defeat against St. Mary's the last time they met, then they were left disappointed.
The loss dropped Kingsley-Pierson's record to 2-1. The win bumped St. Mary's' record up to 2-1.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Kingsley-Pierson take on Newell-Fonda at 7:00 PM. St. Mary's will look to defend their home turf against River Valley at 7:00 PM.
