The University Charter Trail Blazers lost against the Hatch Bobcats last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. University Charter might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Hatch an easy 72-47 win. University Charter has struggled against Hatch recently, as their matchup on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Several Trail Blazers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaylan Austin, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds. Those 17 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Zy'Darrius Harris, who scored eight points along with four steals and four blocks.
University Charter's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Hatch, the win got them back to even at 7-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. University Charter will be home for the holidays to greet Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hatch, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Choctaw County at 7:30 p.m. on December 16th. Choctaw County is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 50.8 points per game.
