Parkville is on a 14-game streak of home wins, while Franklin is on a six-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Parkville Knights will take on the Franklin Indians at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Parkville's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last ten matchups.
Last Wednesday, Parkville strolled past Randallstown with points to spare, taking the game 59-41.
Chima Egeonu was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a triple-double on 16 points, 15 rebounds, and nine blocks. He hasn't dropped below two blocks for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Mikko Persia, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Meanwhile, Franklin can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent contest on Wednesday. They blew past Hereford 68-31 on the road. That 37 points margin sets a new team best for Franklin this season.
Parkville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Franklin, their victory bumped their record up to 15-0.
Parkville beat Franklin 66-55 when the teams last played back in January of 2022. Will Parkville repeat their success, or does Franklin have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
