She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Vanessa Jordan was another key player, going 6 of 9 on her way to 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Eden Prairie was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Chanhassen only racked up ten assists.
Despite the loss, Chanhassen saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kate Arnold went 5 of 9 en route to 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Skyler Mancini, who posted 14 points.
Eden Prairie pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.2 points per game. As for Chanhassen, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eden Prairie will take on Lakeville South in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Eden Prairie knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matches -- so hopefully Lakeville South likes a good challenge. Chanhassen and New Prague will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. New Prague will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Chanhassen surely won't give up without a fight.
