If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Louisburg. On Friday they take on Ottawa at 7:00 PM. Louisburg will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
Louisburg might be getting used to good results now that the team have six wins in a row. They steamrollered Atchison 42-7. With Louisburg ahead 20-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Ottawa, and their match last Friday only extended their streak of losses to six. Last Friday, they lost to Eudora by a decisive 7-26 margin.
Louisburg's win lifted them to 6-0 while Ottawa's defeat dropped them down to 0-6. We'll see if Louisburg's success rolls on or if Ottawa are able to steal their positive momentum.
