That's the first time this season that Ward pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Drake Walker, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds.
Gospel Light Christian's win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 25 points. As for Vandalia Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
Gospel Light Christian won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Calvary Christian at 2:30 p.m. on December 16th. Calvary Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six games -- so hopefully Gospel Light Christian likes a good challenge. Vandalia Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Alamance Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
