Chazy had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Boquet Valley Griffins by a score of 7-4. Kennedy Columbus spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on one hit and racked up 15 Ks.
