Kenai Central came tearing into Saturday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 7-3 win over the Palmer Moose. The Kardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Moose, too.
Jacob Joanis made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits.
