Nueva Esperanza has not had much luck with Kensington recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Jovan McCants was his usual excellent self, scoring 28 points for Kensington. That makes it nine consecutive games in which McCants has scored at least 25% of Kensington's points. Another player making a difference was Joshua Agosto, who scored 14 points.
Nueva Esperanza's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Kensington, they now have a winning record of 5-4-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nueva Esperanza will take on Mastery Charter Hardy Williams at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Kensington won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Science Leadership Academy at Beeber at 4:45 p.m. on January 12th.
