The Bluff Dale Bobcats entered their tilt with the Lueders-Avoca Raiders with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Bluff Dale breezed by Lueders-Avoca at home to the tune of 39-9. The team accrued 29 points in the first half and coasted on those for the victory.
Allie Morris was the offensive standout of the contest as she scored 19 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals. That makes it ten consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Bluff Dale's points. Madi Montgomery was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
The win got Bluff Dale back to even at 5-5. As for Lueders-Avoca, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bluff Dale will square off against Gordon at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lueders-Avoca will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Paint Creek at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
