The Gregory School Hawks stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Patagonia 57-16 at home. The victory was familiar territory for The Gregory School who now have ten in a row.
The Gregory School got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Razin Smith out in front who scored nine points along with 14 rebounds and two steals. Smith is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last six games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Devin Dawson, who scored ten points along with three steals.
The Gregory School's victory was their 14th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.8 points per game. As for Patagonia, their loss dropped their record down to 10-14.
The Gregory School the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th. Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Patagonia, they will head out on the road to face off against Phoenix Day School for the Deaf at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
