The Nipomo Titans will head out on the road to take on the St. Joseph Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Nipomo comes in on three and St. Joseph on five.
Last Friday, Nipomo kept a clean sheet against Orcutt Academy. They came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 2-0. Give Nipomo's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Juan Zarate and
Daniel Alvarado, who scored both of Nipomo's goals. The pair have combined for a total of five so far this season.
Even though St. Joseph has not done well against Cabrillo recently (they were 0-6-1 in their previous seven matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Everything went St. Joseph's way against Cabrillo as St. Joseph made off with a 5-0 win. Give St. Joseph's defense some credit: that's the team's fifth straight shutout.
Nipomo has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-10-1 record this season. As for St. Joseph, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-5-4.
Nipomo suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to St. Joseph in their previous meeting back in January. Can Nipomo avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
