Volleyball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Lafayette

Lafayette barely beat Rayne the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lions blew past the Wolves 3-0 on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Adeline Bobo paced Lafayette's offense, picking up 11 kills. Bobo got some help from Avery Larpenteur and her 16 assists. Finally, Caroline Terro kept Lafayette's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Lafayette's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Rayne, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.

Lafayette has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against St. Edmund on the 24th. As for Rayne, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against St. Louis Catholic on the 23rd.
