North Gaston never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Huss Huskies. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

North Gaston got a great performance from Jackson Livingston as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Those 11 strikeouts gave Livingston a new career-high.

North Gaston has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Huss, they dropped their record down to 1-20 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road.

Coming up, North Gaston will host Crest at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wildcats 2.5, the Chargers 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. Huss does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
