Rad Rodriguez was the offensive standout of the matchup as he scored 17 points along with 3 steals. Caden Seems was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Sylvan-Lucas' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Phillipsburg, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Sylvan-Lucas will be playing at home against Central Plains on Friday. As for Phillipsburg, they will face off against St. John's/Tipton Catholic at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully St. John's/Tipton Catholic focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Tuesday.
