It was a good run, but the Dadeville Bearcats unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 60-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Niangua. Dadeville was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Niangua apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2021.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Niangua to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ethan Scheetz, who scored 17 points along with 6 assists and 6 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Scheetz has scored at least 25% of Niangua's points. Another player making a difference was Clayton Henderson, who scored 17 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals.
Dadeville's loss dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Niangua, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Dadeville will head out on the road to face off against Everton at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Niangua, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Hurley at 5:30 p.m.
