Kenli Dobie posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, she turned in her biggest game of the season, striking out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Dobie's strong effort led Palmer over Rice and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
