Morristown gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener  on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Eastside Ghosts 36-7 at home. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Colonials as it put an end to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season.
 Morristown found their leader in underclassman  Weston Elms, who threw for 197 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Another player making a difference was  Jeremiah Moreau, who picked up 110 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 Morristown wouldn't let Eastside keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Morristown can thank  Moreau and  Greydon Carcich for forcing both of them. Moreau got the majority of those yards when he pulled down a pass and and took off for a gain of65 yards.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Morristown will venture away from home to  challenge Randolph  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Morristown is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a three-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. As for Eastside, they will head out to  take on Clifton  on Friday.
