McLean's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. Their tough 80-58 defeat to Model Secondary School for the Deaf might stick with them for a while. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Model Secondary School for the Deaf to victory, but perhaps none more so than Luke Florio, who scored 22 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Pax Holcomb, who scored 23 points.
McLean's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Model Secondary School for the Deaf, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-9.
McLean will take on the Eagles at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Model Secondary School for the Deaf focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Thursday. As for they, they will be playing in front of their home fans against McLean at 1:00 p.m.
