Kingston is 0-7 against St. Vincent since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Kingston Cougars will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against the St. Vincent Indians. Kingston has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 585 points over their last eight matchups.
Even though Kingston has not done well against Valle Catholic recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Everything went Kingston's way against Valle Catholic as Kingston made off with a 74-51 win. Considering Kingston has won five matchups by more than 22 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Meanwhile, St. Vincent scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Liberty Christian Academy 78-28 at home. With St. Vincent ahead 45-15 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Kingston pushed their record up to 7-1 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for St. Vincent, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
Kingston came up short against St. Vincent in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, falling 78-67. Can Kingston avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
