Fayette Ware had won four straight games and Tacarien Freeman did his part to make it five on Saturday. The Fayette Ware Wildcats enjoyed a cozy 68-49 win over the Shelbyville Central Golden Eagles thanks in part to Freeman, who went 7 of 13 on his way to 17 points and five steals. Those five steals gave him a new career-high.

The team also got some help courtesy of Kylon Terry, who posted seven points and four steals. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last four times he's played.

Fayette Ware's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Shelbyville Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.

Fayette Ware and Viera will round out the year against one another at at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Shelbyville Central, they will venture away from home to face off against Hoover at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
