The Western Alamance Warriors can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent contest on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat NCSSM: Durham 67-17 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Western Alamance has managed all season.
Western Alamance's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Allie Sykes, who scored 17 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Tina Bowers, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and six assists.
Western Alamance now has a winning record of 7-6. As for NCSSM: Durham, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Western Alamance will take on Williams at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Williams focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Wednesday. As for NCSSM: Durham, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Research Triangle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
