Currituck County is 9-1 against Manteo since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Currituck County will host Manteo at 5:00 p.m. Currituck County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.1 runs per game this season.

Morgan Eisel made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI. That double was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Amelia Cervantes, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.
While Manteo didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against First Flight by a score of 6-1 on Friday.
Makenna Gray spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Bridgett Berry, who scored three runs and stole five bases while going 4-for-4. Those five stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Bailey Dickerson, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
Manteo was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Manteo's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Currituck County, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 5-3.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Currituck County has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.2 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Manteo struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 2.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Currituck County was able to grind out a solid victory over Manteo in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, winning 7-4. Will Currituck County repeat their success, or does Manteo has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
