The Whites Creek Cobras waltzed into their game Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They came out on top against Hume-Fogg by a score of 37-30. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Whites Creek also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2022.
Whites Creek's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Moriah Plattner, who scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Rickiya Rawlings, who scored eight points.
The victory got Whites Creek back to even at 4-4. As for Hume-Fogg, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Whites Creek will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Stratford at 6:00 p.m. on January 12, 2024. As for Hume-Fogg, they will head out on the road to face off against Hunters Lane at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hunters Lane comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last six games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
