The Fremont Silverwolves will head out on the road to challenge the Weber Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Fremont has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while Weber will arrive with three straight wins.
Fremont pushed their score all the way to 62 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 63-62 to Farmington.
Fremont might have lost, but man, Hunter Hansen was a machine: he scored 28 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks. That's the first time this season that Hansen posted two or more blocks. Another player making a difference was Easton Duft, who scored 15 points along with five assists.
Weber posted their biggest victory since December 13, 2023 on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Syracuse as Weber made off with a 69-49 victory.
Fremont has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season. As for Weber, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.
Fremont strolled past Weber in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 by a score of 71-54. Will Fremont repeat their success, or does Weber have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
