Timberline has enjoyed a five-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. The Timberline Wolves and the Jordan Beetdiggers will round out the year against one another at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday at. Hopefully Timberline focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Thursday.
Last Thursday, Timberline faced Eagle in a battle between two of the state's top teams. It was close, but Timberline ultimately received the gift of a 49-46 victory from a begrudging Wolvessquad.
Bryce Elder and Alex Ko were among the main playmakers for Timberline as the former scored 11 points along with six rebounds and the latter scored 26 points along with six rebounds. Those 26 points set a new season-high mark for him.
Meanwhile, Jordan pushed their score all the way to 57 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Cottonwood by a score of 60-57. Jordan has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Timberline pushed their record up to 6-0 with that victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.2 points per game. As for Jordan, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
