Henry Cheney and Victor Hitt provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Raymond. The connection was good for 65 yards, the longest such play in 1A Nisqually - Division 2 this season.
Life Christian Academy moved up to 185 from 231 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Eagles were able to make move up by besting Tacoma Baptist 55-8.
Cheney provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Charles Wright bested the Gulls. He completed 11 passes for 147 yards and also ran for 72 yards.
Andrew Rickman was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 15 carries, he ran for 126 yards as Cedar Park Christian beat Raymond. Connor Johnson also contributed to the rushing game with 39 yards on the ground.
Alex Morris put up the best numbers through the air as Chimacum lost to Klahowya. He finished with 10 completions for 150 yards. Morris' favorite target this week was Hitt, who caught 2 passes for 48 yards.
Moore was the best wideout in 1A Nisqually - Division 2 this week as Charles Wright topped Robert Clements' team. Andrew Williams helped Charles Wright's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 38 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Michael Finch's team's Cheney and Williams have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-0 quarterback Cheney has thrown for 313 yards this season, while Williams has 10 catches for 125 yards. The Eagles' Rickman leads the league in rushing yards with 348.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Charles Wright takes on second place Life Christian Academy. Last week, the Tarriers beat the Gulls, while Life Christian Academy topped the Crusaders.
