After a dominant victory in their matchup three weeks ago, Louisiana School for the Deaf were humbled last Saturday. They fell just short of Mississippi School for the Deaf by a score of 18-20. The match was a 6-6 toss-up at halftime, but Louisiana School for the Deaf were outplayed the rest of the way.
Meanwhile, Alabama School for the Deaf took an ego-bruising defeat against Indiana School for the Deaf, but they kept their chin up and bounced back last Friday. Alabama School for the Deaf captured a comfortable 22-6 win over Model Secondary School for the Deaf.
Alabama School for the Deaf's win lifted them to 2-3 while Louisiana School for the Deaf's loss dropped them down to 2-1. We'll find out if Alabama School for the Deaf can add another positive mark to their record or if Louisiana School for the Deaf can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Alabama School for the Deaf's step.
