The Miller Falcons lost against the Wellston Golden Rockets back in November of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Miller had to suffer through a rough 56-18 loss at the hands of Wellston. Miller was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-13.
When it comes to explaining why Miller lost, one person who can't be blamed is Abby Keller. Despite the final result, she scored 6 points along with 11 rebounds.
Miller now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Wellston, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Miller will take on Fairfield Christian Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Wellston, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Southern at 7:30 p.m. on December 4th.
