Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alissa Azcuy, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Azcuy is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Josephine Salazar, who scored 14 points along with two steals.
Despite the loss, Central saw an underclassman step up: CHAU DAVIS scored 14 points along with two steals. DAVIS continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. HARMON RANDOLPH was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Even though they lost, Central smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart only pulled down five offensive rebounds.
Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Central, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.
